Kulturzentrum Trinkhalle (former pump room) in Bad Wildbad
The pump room was built in 1933 and was opened the following year to provide curative drinking treatments with thermal water. The building was later saved from demolition through generous citizen commitment and financial support from the state. Extensive renovation measures in 2010 and 2011 converted the former pump room into a modern cultural and event venue.
Royal health theater
Bad Wildbad's Königliches Kurtheater (Royal Spa Theatre) is located in the Kurpark gardens, just a two-minute walk from the terminus of the S 6 light rail transit line. A relatively small building to house a theatre, it captivates visitors with the charm of its architecture, combining Renaissance and Baroque elements of style. Built at the end of the 19th century, its interior displays the splendour of the Wilhelmine epoch. It can be rightly described as a gem of theatre architecture and is among the most beautiful theatre buildings in southern Germany.
Wildbad Cinema (KiWi)
The Wildbad Cinema (KiWi-Kino Wildbad) is located directly in the centre of Bad Wildbad in the Forum König-Karls-Bad. It is a traditional movie house with character.
Forum König-Karls-Bad (House for Guests)
The König-Karls-Bad, built in Neo-Baroque style in 1890/1892, is one of the most impressive 19th century bath buildings in Baden-Württemberg. Boasting a representative exterior and interior, it once housed changing cubicles, therapy rooms and lounges. Called "Haus des Gastes" (House for Guests) since 1977, it now has lecture and reading rooms as well as function rooms for spa guests.
