Spa town flair and rural bliss… The thermal waters and fundamentally healthy climate have made Bad Wildbad famous. Today the town stands for the vitality that can be regenerated here in the Black Forest.

Like precious aquamarines, the districts of Bad Wildbad beckon to the mountain hiker. The blue strip of the Enz River joins the spa center around the extensive Enz facilities, the pedestrian zone and the spa square with the neighbouring villages Calmbach, Aichelberg, Hünerberg, Sommerberg, Meistern, Sprollenhaus and Nonnenmiss into an appealing mosaic with urban flair and rural tranquility.

The Sommerberg offers a real contrast to the mild climate in the valley, as well as biking and hiking fun for the whole family. In the resort town of Calmbach, the "five-valley-town" 400 metres above sea level, visitors can also breathe the Black Forest air. The surroundings of the village trio, Aichelberg-Hünerberg-Meistern tempt visitors likewise with endless hiking and biking trails at a height of 800 metres where rural tranquility and hospitality can be enjoyed in the village duo of Sprollenhaus-Nonnenmiss.

There have also been many improvements in the infrastructure. The most recent example is the Meister Tunnel. The 1.7-km-long road through the mountain ridge was completed in just 2 ½ years. Thus all through traffic is diverted and the town is left almost completely to pedestrians.
