The soap brush massage is an intensive peeling of the skin that especially helps the circulation and stimulates the bodys energy flow. The finest dry skin cells are removed and the pores are thoroughly cleansed.
In the evening primrose oil bath, the guests whole body is oiled with a thick cream. The main ingredient is evening primrose oil, harvested from the seeds of the evening primrose. This flower is an ornamental plant, also used as a vegetable and in healing. Its combination of substances is unique. Evening primrose oil contains many gamma linolenic acids that are helpful in the treatment of a variety of illnesses.
People of many cultures and from many walks of life through the centuries have used oils, either as nourishment, for lighting, to heal wounds, to care for the body or for rites and rituals. Plant oils used externally on the skin make it soft, smooth and firm; they regulate and support the circulation in the skin, its breathing, intake of light and warmth regulation.
Water Shiatsu (WATSU) is a type of body work in 35° C. warm water that has been developed from Far Eastern Zen Shiatsu. The dynamics of the body in water joined with elements from Shiatsu (Japanese for acupressure) make life energy flow. Gentle stretching and rotations of the vertebrae loosen muscles. The supporting quality of the water takes the pressure from the weight of the body off the spinal column and allows for movement that is not possible out of the water.
The anti-stress bath speaks for itself. Whoever is tired, suffers from tension and tends to be nervous, is burdened at work and/or at home, should treat themselves to the wellness room of the Palais Thermal.
Aloe vera spa treatments
The Palais Thermal now has four new aloe vera treatments in its programme: the total indulgement treatment for face and body, the relaxing foam mask, the "express care" brush massage, and the salt/oil skin scrub.
Hot stone massage
This spa treatment is great for your overall sense of well-being. Hot stones of basalt are placed on the energy centres of your body and the massage therapist moves them in relaxing motions across your skin.
Mocha coffee scrub
This body scrub of ground coffee, avocado oil, honey and coconut milk will really pep you up with its fresh smell of mocha. It cleanses your skin and rubs off dead cells, stimulating the regeneration of your skin.
