Evening primrose oil bath
In the evening primrose oil bath, the guest’s whole body is oiled with a thick cream. The main ingredient is evening primrose oil, harvested from the seeds of the evening primrose. This flower is an ornamental plant, also used as a vegetable and in healing. Its combination of substances is unique. Evening primrose oil contains many gamma linolenic acids that are helpful in the treatment of a variety of illnesses.

After being rubbed with oil, you are wrapped in fleece and lie as if weightless on the warm water bed, allowing the oil to seep into the skin. In dermatological terms, this is called occlusion and is a process in which the skin is able to absorb much more of the healing properties than through a normal application of skin cream. There is also the possibility of listening to relaxing music.

At the end of this wonderful experience, the body is rubbed only lightly, since the oils still need time to be absorbed. Thermal spas, showers and sauna visits should thus take place before being oiled. Evening primrose oil can aid in circulation and therefore be helpful in cases of skin disease. Every skin type is receptive to this oil. It is especially recommended in cases of irritated skin that tends to infection or has been damaged through allergies. Because of the moisturising properties, it checks premature aging of the skin.

This application is ideal after the thermal spa and sauna in order to return moisture to the skin.
